A study of job satisfaction among special education teachers

Abstract: Job Satisfaction and work-related stress are important determinate of psychological disorder and may affect performance of the teachers. The aim of the present study was to determine the job satisfaction of remote workers and to determine the differences in these variables as a function of demographics variables such as age, gender, educational qualification, way of living and time worked remotely. The research design of the problem entails mainly interview, questionnaire method, and multiple level of analysis and data collection. The methods are quantitative and qualitative in nature which includes questionnaire survey and interview method. The sample of the study consisted of 50 special education teachers (25 male special educators and 25 female special education teachers) randomly selected from Rohtak district only. For the present study, to assess the teacher’s job satisfaction present researcher used job satisfaction scale. This tool is developed by Munir, S and Khatoon (2015). The result reveals that there is no significant impact of gender special education teachers and post graduates are rather satisfied with their profession.
