Discipline among secondary school students: A comprehensive study

Abstract: This study is conducted to examine the level of discipline among secondary school students in Guntur district. Various Indian and foreign studies were reviewed before conducting this investigation. For this study, the researcher used the Descriptive survey method. The investigator selected 310 secondary school students as a sample for this study by using a stratified random sampling method. A questionnaire was constructed to find out the opinions of the secondary school students on different areas of discipline. The data was analyzed by using various statistical methods like, mean. SD, correlation, ‘t’-test. The scores obtained from different groups are compared across the variables like Gender of the student, Locality of school, Management of the school, Type of the school, and Medium of study. The results are discussed in the light of previous research studies; suggestions and recommendations for further research were also suggested.
